Matt already said something about the great conversation the shirt generated, but I wanted to add the words of the immortal Frizz: “Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!”
If no one ever said anything controversial, we’d still think the earth is flat and that socialism is a bad idea (well I can dream)

It’s just that when someone has lost a loved one to a disease, part of the grieving process involves a total lack of a sense of humour about that disease. I don’t think that makes the shirt insulting or any less funny, and I don’t think it was a good enough reason to pull the shirt… But I can understand why someone might disagree with me.

Alternatively, people may not have seen the point and actually thought that the shirt was saying something insulting about homosexuals. And one of the unfortunate things about idiots is that they’re dumb enough to be vocal about the fact that they’re idiots.
