IMHO, the Conservative Propaganda used by Evangelicals to lure teenagers into virginity pledges is a serious way of child abuse.
People should get comprehensive sex ed whether they’ll have sex or not.

For example, the word for abstinence in German is “Keuchheit”, which hasn’t really been used since a few centuries. *wonders why*
