Nebraska’s current safe haven law does not have an age limit. That means parents from all over the country are abandoning children and teens at hospitals for the state to take. While lawmakers rush to change the law so that it only applies to infants, you might want to think twice before embarking on that hastily planned family trip to Omaha.
