I know in Florida the age of consent is 16 but it is limited to the age range of 16-24. When you turn 18 you then no longer have the 24 limit. I think that is reasonable.
I think it’s interesting how fifty and forty isn’t a big deal to be a couple, but eighteen and even twenty-five can be odd. I understand there is some maturity difference, although really some people never grow up anyway. Hmmm but I guess when you’re that young the trend is just to have sex or drama.
