Have to admit I’m impressed by the live feed. Will these still be available as videos afterwards for those of us in awkward timezones??
The live show is a work in progress, but we will be recording and posting them on the site for those of you in Benin.
The site seems painfully slow lately. Is it just me or theres something going on ?
Chris, the site should be loading faster these days. Is it the whole site that is slow for you or certain elements like the videos?
Seems like the whole site to be honest. From what I tested it seems the browser creates a new connection for each file. Do you have KeepAlive on ? Assuming you run apache
Technically the site is loading way faster then it ever has. We upgraded our server to accommodate more CPU load. I can’t say for sure why it is running slower for you but let us know if you have any more specific information.
Keep-Alive is set to a only a few seconds so it shouldn’t be a problem.
Keep in mind that while we don’t by any means get millions of hits a day, we still do get alot, and that it will always have a strain on our budget server
I’m finding that, at least at the moment, the buffering on all video is taking forever. How am I supposed to procrastinate if I can’t spend it educating myself on the various sexual issues facing today’s teens?
Just to let you know, I haven’t had any problems with the site at all.
